Embark on a journey where the soothing tones of live music meet the peaceful beauty of nature, creating a symphony of waves that gently awaken your senses. This Art A Whirl weekend, join us for a virtual concert along the serene St. Croix River, where melodies flow as smoothly as water and the landscape dances with sound.
On Sunday, May 19 at 11 am, immerse yourself in the harmony of music and nature. As the concert unfolds, each note becomes a brushstroke, painting a sonic tapestry that connects you to the vibrant beauty of the outdoors. Whether you watch from home or on the go, this virtual event offers a unique opportunity to explore the unity between art and nature through music. Prepare your drawing pad or paints if you want to create while listening, tapping into the theta waves that activate your creative potential.
Celebrate the timeless connection between humanity, music, and the natural world. Be part of an unforgettable exploration of sound, sight, and serenity at Art A Whirl.
For the best experience, we recommend enjoying the concert in a quiet setting or with headphones. Don't forget your drawing pad and paints if you're ready to unleash your inner artist.
We look forward to sharing this extraordinary experience with you!
In partnership with The White House Art and Josh Misner.

The White House is excited to announce that Milinda Nitti, a talented member of our artist collective, will lead a captivating Art-A-Whirl performance on Sunday.
“The joy we feel from hearing sounds is closely related to the joy felt when making sounds themselves. When performing and listening to music, we are renewing, transforming, and creating together – performer and audience. We all have internal subconscious rhythms – our heartbeat and our breath. Experience a temporary shift in perspective as we embrace the bond between painting and music, and honor the subtle calmness and depth that can be found in this space.” ~ Milinda
This unique event will feature a musical performance by Milinda while a painting demo by Alyse Emanuel takes place.
Join us on Sunday, May 21 at 2:00pm at the Thorp Building, Studio #175.

The BSO is proud to present the music of two composers for this concert, each with a language that speaks to our hearts and imagination. William Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony is a re-discovered American gem that paints portraits through his impeccable orchestration and melodies supported by perfect harmonies. Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Concerto for Violin in D Major is a model of presumed simplicity and musical economy that manifests as poetry, line by line. Welcome back BSO concertmaster Michael Sutton as he offers his take on this time-tested masterpiece.
