Hi! I am MILINDA NITTI, a believer in the magic of music, a force that unites people, transforms, and elevates our surroundings.

As a musician, I embrace the many roles and opportunities that come my way, co-founding the Marine Candlelight Series during the pandemic, bringing classical chamber music concerts to the community, adding to the web of connection.

Teaching people of all ages about the flute, I find joy in learning and growing with them. 

I volunteer and support larger community orchestras, which create collective musical growth and improve the underserved’s access to the arts.

My latest project explores the creation of soundscapes with the flute, a way to incorporate the softness and magic of nature into my music. Music has the power to calm our minds and deepen our understanding,bringing us closer to our own truths and each other when we collaborate with other artists.

Just like nature’s elements blend in harmony, so do the voices of an orchestra or chamber ensemble.

For me, the forest is a sacred space, a place where tall pines, soft moss, and flowing water bring me solace. In both nature and music, subtle changes in color and texture guide our minds to find clarity, work through thoughts, and access emotion.

As I journey through life as a musician and lover of nature, I will continue to follow the softness and magic that draws me in, finding inspiration in the forest and in the elements of music, knowing that both can guide me towards a deeper state of being.
